Increase The Peace was founded in 2007 by Youth Worker Delroy Ellis, who was based at Star 66 in the Linden area.

DressUpIncrease The Peace was established to offer young people an environment where they could come along and participate in sport, music, dance, drama and creative arts, amongst other positive activities. Whilst enjoying these activities Increase The Peace also educates children on the dangers they face in todays society in a friendly and positive manner, teaches basic life skills such as cooking and offers a mentoring, support and advice service where necessary.

The project has a youth club, sports teams, dance crews and music artists who regularly play/perform locally. Opportunities to get involved are available to all young people, enabling them to get involved in new activities, achieve their potential and increase their confidence and social awareness.

Increase The Peace has seen the release of a CD, visits abroad to perform in Hungary, the creation of a new initiative YPP (Youth Peace Project) and a growing profile in Gloucestershire as they are regularly seen in the media and getting involved within the community.

TeamTo continue doing the great work and achieving positive results the project needs to continue fundraising, and is appreciative of any donations, no matter how large or small, to help with the weekly running costs. If you would like to help please visit our donations page.

The Increase The Peace project has been supported financially by The Home Office, Gloucester City Council, Safer Gloucester and Gloucestershire Constabulary, all of whom also assist offering other means of support to the project on a regular basis.
